Full Stack Web Developer(Monthly Retainer)
Key Responsibilities
Front-End Development
● Build and maintain UI using:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, React, or any language/framework used within Maraya’s
current system
● Ensure responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
● Integrate front-end with backend services and APIs
Back-End Development
● Build and maintain backend logic
● Work with frameworks such as:
Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Python, or other languages used in Maraya systems
● Build and maintain APIs and server-side components
● Ensure code security, scalability, and best practices
Database Management
● Database structuring, optimization, and maintenance
● Query optimization
● Ensure clean integration with the app and front-end
Deployment & DevOps
● Manage deployment on DigitalOcean, AWS, or other cloud environments
● GitHub repository management
● Manage staging, development, and production environments
Quality Assurance & Maintenance
● Debugging and bug-fixing
● Testing and performance optimization
● Ensure clean and continuous documentation
Technical Skills Required
● Ruby on Rails (required)
● HTML, CSS, JavaScript
● React
● Experience with APIs and backend integration
● GitHub/GitLab proficiency
● Familiarity with cloud deployment (DigitalOcean or AWS)
Deliverables Expected
● Daily/weekly progress updates
● Documented code
API documentation
● Deployment-ready features
● Full handover of code/access upon request
Monthly Retainer Model
● Contractor is paid a fixed monthly fee, not hourly.
● Scope may evolve monthly based on Maraya’s needs (with written notice).
● Contractor must be available for continuous updates and urgent fixes.
